DI Day Colorado
Event starts at 12:15PM MDT (Denver local time)
Coloradans for Digital Freedom (CDF) is hosting a lightning talk, Q&A, and networking for those interested in topics of data privacy and digital sovereignty. Following the presentation, attendees may learn more about privacy alternatives from our volunteers for topics such as de-googled smartphones, Linux desktop environments, social media, self-hosting, and productivity software. You may bring your own devices (laptops, phones) to get hands-on assistance with installing software that advances your data privacy goals.
We will be in the main Boulder Library on Arapahoe Ave, in the Eldorado room. Space is limited at 10 attendees. First come, first serve. Please notify the organizer at coloradansfordigitalfreedom@fastmail.com to reserve a seat or share accessibility requirements, but RSVPing is otherwise not necessary. Follow https://mastodon.social/@ansiblegames on Mastodon for event updates leading up to the start time.
CDF alternates between Boulder and Denver locations on a monthly cadence aligned to the DI.Day schedule (first Sundays). We have a mailing list at https://lists.riseup.net/www/info/coloradansfordigitalfreedom. In-person attendees are eligible to join the Signal support group.
This event is not sponsored by Boulder Public Library. For more information, please email coloradansfordigitalfreedom@fastmail.com. Access to free meeting rooms is a service of Boulder Public Library.
