Want to break free of Big Tech exploitation and toxicity, find positive alternatives, and discuss how to take more control over our digital lives?

Drop in to the classroom in Wecreate at any time between 3pm - 6pm on Sunday 6th September - the first Sunday of the month - when people gather to support each other to become independent of Big Tech as part of the "Digital Independence Day" movement in Europe di.day . • bring a laptop and get help moving from Microsoft or Apple to Linux operating system

• get help getting set up and building networks on alternative social media. If you can register for an account on http://mastodon.ie about two days in advance this will help, but not a blocker if you haven't

• get help and advice with having an apple-free google-free phone

• discuss the challenges of parenting in a digital age, and how to get support on issues of smartphones and social media for children and teens
